Cambridge Texts in the History of Political Thought synopsis

John Salisbury (115/1/1180) was the most important political scene of his time. He has been trained in theology and school philosophy in Paris, and his writings are priceless to sum up many of the metaphysical predictions of his time.

Polycatics is his main work, and is considered the first full work of the political theory to be written in the Latin Middle Ages. The first version of Carrie Niederman was designed in 1991 and translated primarily to university students in the history of political thought and the history of the Middle Ages.

His translation shows how important this text is in understanding the customs, forms of behavior and beliefs of the most powerful regions and learning in Western Europe in the twelfth century.
