This first volume of three volumes begins with a brief introduction to historical metrology as a scientific system and comes out with a selection of modern and harsh measurement systems of all kinds, scientific scales, time units, weights, coins, List of references. Units of measurement are vital in every civilization throughout history.

Since early times, man has developed through the need to take various measures to help him in daily life. We have enabled and continued to enable us to trade in common and equal quantities, to investigate, understand and control the chemical, physical and biological processes of the natural world.

The essence of the work is a comprehensive list arranged alphabetically. To measure labels, units and scales.

It provides an understanding of almost all quantitative expressions observed in all imaginable situations, including spelling variants, abbreviations and unit symbols, and various abbreviations used in metrology. Such use would be useful not only for historians of science and technology, but also for economic and social historians, and should be in each major academic and national library as a reference reference on the subject.
