To provide a thorough and comprehensive understanding of India's strategic culture in terms of conceptual formulations in the West, as well as its distinctive historical track in the sub-continent, the book traces its origins and applications to changing security policy frameworks in the post-independence phase.

And international relations after liberation. In addition, the author examines India's strategic thinking role in determining state policy responses to internal conflicts on political, economic, religious and ethnic grounds.

The volume also assesses the prevailing debates on the legitimacy of the use of force on the basis of the situation, the traditional approach to peace and the hindrance that India seeks to emphasize in the current geopolitical system asymmetrical. He will be particularly interested in scientists, teachers, students of defense studies, strategy, international relations, history and political science..
