A Survey of Radial Velocities in the Zodiacal Dust Cloud synopsis
In the summer and fall of 2006, I read several interviews with Brian May in which he stated his desire to complete his doctoral dissertation in 1974. He searched for the papers he had published while he was a doctoral student, who was on the spectral studies of dust movement responsible for light The astronomer saw that there was a basis for a message.
Since he was a student in the empire, I knew, as head of the Imperial Physics Group at Imperial, that it would be good for the group if he came and worked with us. I contacted him by email and suggested that he come and talk about it.
He responded enthusiastically and said that he was working on printing what I completed by 1974. Gradually I realized that I was the only employee in Imperial who used to work on the dust, so I had to act as his supervisor.
In the end, we met and tried to assess whether he would have enough time for the enormous work involved in finishing a thesis, especially if it had not been addressed for more than 30 years. Since some of Brian's e-mails come from the recording studio, I knew there was strong competition for his time..
