Anthropic Bias synopsis

Anthropological bias explores how to think when you suspect that your guide is biased by the "observation selection effects" - the filtered evidence, provided that there is an observer with an appropriate position to "own" the directory. This puzzle - sometimes referred to as the "anthropological principle" or "self-defined belief" or "normative information" - turns out to be an astonishing and intellectually stimulating challenge, one that has significant implications for many areas of science. And philosophy. There are experiments of philosophical thought and paradoxes: the argument of the Day of Resurrection; the beautiful sleeping; the virtual philosopher Adam Eve; the absent driver; the chamber of photography.

There are applications in contemporary science: cosmology ("How many universes are there?", "Why does the universe seem fixed for life?"); Evolutionary theory ("How was the evolution of intelligent life on our planet?"); ("How can I test the theory of multiple worlds?"); Problems with game theory with perfect recall ("How to model?"); Even traffic analysis ("Why" the next track " Faster"?). Anroprop Bias argues that the same principles work in all these areas.

It offers a synthesis: an explicit mathematical theory of the effects of observation selection that tries to meet scientific needs while dispelling philosophical paradox.
