Arthurian Literature and Christianity synopsis

This collection of essays was designed as the "other portfolio" of Jesse Weston's work nearly eighty years ago, and provides an accurate overview of recent scholarships about the potential overlap between literature Arthur and Christianity. From rituals to romance and notes, combined, in parentheses is a contemporary inquiry into the relationship (if any) between Jesus and Arthur. TS Elliot considers "the land of waste" here as a strand linking this issue with many modern literary puzzles (such as the meaning of the term "postmodernism").

Without reprinting the work readily available elsewhere and no longer subject to review through dialogue with other contributors, Notes attempts to bring justice to all parties in the twentieth century exploration of the contribution of Christianity in artistic form also based on early European polytheism (“paganism”).
