Beyond the Analytic synopsis

This set of futuristic thinking presents a new work that goes beyond the division between analytical and continental philosophical traditions - which has long led to discord, mutual mistrust and institutional barriers to the development of common concerns and problems. Rather than re-examining the causes of the gap, contributors benefit from the problems, methods and outcomes of both traditions to show what philosophical action seems to be after division.

From metaphysics and philosophy of reason to philosophy and political ethics, the papers gathered here in a mutual dialogue bring together a wide range of contemporary and modern thinkers, and face common leadership problems among traditions, including methodology, theology, meaning, truth, values and personality. These articles together show that it is indeed possible to predict the future of philosophical thought and practice that can no longer be considered "analytical" or "continental", but instead as a pluralistic construct of what is best in both traditions.

The new work gathered here illustrates how the problems, projects and ambitions of twentieth-century philosophy have already been addressed and transformed into a productive production of new visions, questions and methods of philosophy today.
