(Especially Portuguese wolf wolves); (ii) methodologies used to assess the impacts of this type of development on biodiversity; and (iii) best practice methodologies for the implementation of adaptive management approaches for reconciling biodiversity and wind farms. The knowledge presented in this book has been gathered through R & D activities developed by Bioinsight (Bio3) over the last 13 years and funded in part by the R & D project. "Integrated solutions for biodiversity management in wind farms: reducing and compensating for bird mortality (Wind and Biodiversity), jointly funded by the European Fund for Regional Development (FEDER), within the framework of the Center's Regional Operational Program (MESCENTRO).
