Instead of claiming that there is a common concept of globalization that all parties can agree upon, this book seeks to study some of the concepts and the way in which different interpretations of certain aspects of globalization are presented. The past two decades have seen a tremendous proliferation of academic writings on the subject of globalization, coupled with a high level of interest in media and widespread use of the term.

This inevitably led to the idea of ​​broadening the idea to cover a whole range of issues, leading to the risk of losing any conceptual focus. John Glenn studies five areas of issues that have been impacted by globalization: the sovereign, societal and sovereign society.

In order to do so, the book aims to formulate questions within each area, which will allow for some judgments on different views on globalization. Globalization will be of interest to students of the international political economy, politics and international relations in general.
