Metaphysics and science combine important new work within an emerging philosophical system: the science of metaphysics. In the introductory chapter, a definition of metaphysics is presented for science, which explains why the subjects of laws, causation, natural species and appearance at the heart of discipline. The book is then divided into four sections, which together bring together the papers of senior academics in each of these four subjects.

Among the questions that have been discussed are: How do laws and measurement methods relate? Can a diluted account be given to the laws satisfactorily? How can Lorentz's laws be interpreted? How do behaviors behave? What role should ordinal properties play in our understanding of the causal relationship? Are natural species and natural properties distinct? How does the connotation of Krivetak Putnam in the terms of natural nature deal with natural qualitative theory? What should be the case for good natural conditions to have a specific reference? What holds, if any, what is nonlinear in science in metaphysical appearance? This group will be of interest to philosophers, scientists and alumni who work in problems at the intersection of metaphysics and science.
