Multi-Agent systems are a promising technology for developing the next generation of distributed distributed software systems. The main focus of the research community was the development of concepts (relating to mental and social attitudes), architectures, techniques, and general approaches to the analysis and specification of multi-factor systems.

This contribution has been fragmented, with no clear way of "collecting it together", making it unavailable to young students, researchers, non-experts and practitioners. The development of successful multi-factor systems only ensures that we can bridge the gap from analysis and design to effective implementation.

Multi-language programming: languages, tools and applications offer a number of mature and influential platforms, platforms, development tools and methodologies, and real-world applications that summarize state-of-the-art technology in a way that is accessible to professionals and computer science students at all levels.
