This rich illustrated book is a catalog of work and commentary by Paul Bonates (1877-1956), one of the 20th century's most influential architects and architects. Left behind a multifaceted legacy of modern and traditional works from the German Empire to the early Federal Republic of Germany.
He also gained a reputation as a designer of technical buildings. His fruitful dialogue with engineers has been widely appreciated by many architects.
The book is a companion to the exhibition at the German-German Museum from 21 to 20 March 2011, and in Kunsthalle Topingen, from 26 March to 22 May 2011.
