Peacemaking and Transformative Mediation synopsis

This book evaluates the possibilities of adopting the transitional mediation framework in a non-Western context. Inspired by the hypothesis of an intermediate ideology and having a profound impact on the process, Baruch Bush and Joseph B.

Follger formulated a model of transformational mediation that developed itself from individual culture and problem solving. This theory of conflict transformation involved researchers and practitioners across North America, Europe and Australia.

The question remains: Is the transitional mediation framework outside the "West"? Through qualitative interviews with Palestinian practitioners of traditional conflict resolution, analysis and in-depth analysis, this study illustrates what distinguishes the ideologies and practices of transitional mediation and the Palestinian interest.
