Pioneering Theories in Nursing synopsis
"The leading theorists in nursing" traces the origins of nursingtheories through their founders. Unlike the other nursingtheories, this book presents a personal story of some of the leading nursing leaders, doctors, and theorists so far that the reader can understand the context in which the nursing pioneer developed their theory.
He will try to explain theories and practices of nursing and provide food for thought to students and practitioners, which encourages reflection thinking. Each section begins with a chapter overview and identifies common topics.
Designed to be extremely user-friendly, each chapter follows a standard structure with short CVs, a summary of their own interests and a chart of their writings before each theory is examined in detail. The chapter then looks at examples of how this theory is applied and the impact this process has had on the wider nursing community.
More links are provided to other theorists as well as key dates in the life of the theorists and a 50-word summary.
