Salisbury is known for having the longest spire of a church in the UK, being home to an original version of Magna Carta and closely linked to the Stonehenge World Heritage Site. However, if the veil is lifted on this small, conservative city, it has a deceptive history, with a sometimes cursed association with the Roma community, a corrupt municipality with more sheep than voters, and one of the only places in the 21st century.

Century where romantic courtship may lead to court. Salisbury was an important medieval city that witnessed burning, hanging, and beheading, and while it was held at various times by the Sultans and parliamentarians during the civil war, it remained largely intact.

The city was largely overcome by the industrial revolution, leaving much of its historical heritage relatively untouched and still accessible to the modern visitor. It was the subject and sometimes home to a number of famous artists, writers and soldiers, and local deputies usually had to "sing for their dinner".
