Signalling and Signal Boxes along the North British Railway, Great North of Scotland Railway and the CLC Routes synopsis

Continuing with the Northern British Railway, the Northern Scotland Railway and the Cheshire Commission, Alan Jackson uses a collection of previously unpublished images to illustrate the story of signs in LNER's main components over several sizes. The Northern British Railroad took the Scottish scorpion proudly to the Edinburgh Waverley station and generally on the east coast of Scotland on a common line to Aberdeen.

As Edinburgh has been widely updated, not much of the NBR has survived, although the West Highland Railway still retains its unique brand. Northern Scotland's Great Railway joined Aberdeen with the city of Elgin and although it also suffered from the closure of branch lines, there is still enough to register its proud personality.

Cheshire (CLC) was an unusual railroad project in that it did not have its own locomotives, but used the locomotives from one of its components, Central Great. The duplication of roads followed by BR executions means that CLC is a shadow of its own self-image and there are still small mechanical signals. Due to the continuous or completed signal updates in the main centers, the book follows the secondary and secondary lines mainly as these lines continue to operate the mechanical signals, which are temporarily split into flights where possible or desirable..
