This book deals with the study and analysis of the physical aspects of social systems and models, inspired by symmetry with familiar models of physical systems and possible applications of statistical physics tools. In contrast to the traditional analysis of the physics of many particle systems or condensed materials, which is now a well-established and mature subject, the sudden rise in physical analysis and modeling of social systems, which are clearly dynamic, many-body systems, is a recent phenomenon.

Although major developments in social physics have only recently taken place, the earliest attempts to propose "social physics" as a constituent system date back more than a century and a half. Different developments have inspired the dominant physics of condensed material systems and have led to recent growth in analysis and social models.

Despite the tremendous efforts made by many scientists in recent years, this issue is still in its infancy and significant challenges remain to be faced. An introduction to these challenges is the main motivation of this book..
