The Arabs in Antiquity synopsis

The history of the Arabs in ancient times was described from their first appearance around 853 BC to the first century of Islam, in this book. He traces the mention of people who call Arabs in all relevant old sources and suggests a new interpretation of their history. It is suggested that the ancient Arabs were a religious group more than an ethnic group, which explains why the term "Arab" could easily be adopted by early Islamic tribes.

Thus, the Arabs of antiquity are more like the early Islamic Arabs than they are usually assumed, and they are united by common links between ideology and law.
