The Prince and the Pauper synopsis
"What do I write? A historical story 300 years ago, just because of her love." Mark Twain's first novel, The Prince and the Poor, published in 1881, became a "tale." It was intricately planned and meant to have a sense of history even though it was merely a mythical material. In England in the 16th century, young Edward (son of Henry VIII) and Tom Kanti, a poor boy like him, were forced to change places.
The prince bears the "hardships and hardships" while the poor suffers "terrible misery from princedom". Mark Twain described his book as "a story for young people of all ages" and became a classic book of American literature.
The first edition was filmed in 1881 by Frank Merrill and John Harley. S.
Ibsen. Mark Twain, the boys in these illustrations, said: "Look at their clothes exactly as I used to see them thrown into my mind ...
It is a pleasure to see them being put in the flesh, so to speak." This copy of the Mark Twain Library reproduces exactly the text of the academic edition in California, including all 192 illustrated illustrations that I have accepted.
