To addressthisneed, wepresentthisvolumeto: expanding the concepts of differences beyond the traditional discussions of race / ethnicity for autism, where, and heytyyoccur; focusoncancerdisparitiesintheUS, whilecitingsomemajorexamplesfrom abroad; analysisecertainmajormajorcancerswithrespecttodisparities, withemphasison socioeconomicposition; examinethesourcesofdisparitiesfrombothinsididoutoutidethehhh carale system; Identinitialinterventionsthatattempttoreduceandeliminatethesed- parities; and identissueststhatdeserveattentionwithrespecttofuturerearchearch. We begin by exploring broaddimensionsuchasdefinitionsofdisparities, datasystems, the roleofgenes andenvironment, andtheroleofworkandoccupationincancer varparities. Thenwemoveintospecificchallengesincancerdisparitiessuchas tobaccouseandlungcancer, breastcancer, colorectalcancer, prostatecancer, cervicalcancer, melanoma, andhepatocellularcarcinoma.
