Way of the Roses synopsis

This is the official road map covering 170 miles (274 km) of the national network of courses between Morecambe on the west coast and Bridlington on the east coast, across historic Lancaster cities and the New York-Susternan Road NN69. Part of the "Challenge" series from Sustrans, in the 1: 100,000 range, the map displays gradient profiles and visitor information, with detailed routes across towns and cities.

The road was developed by Sustrans and offers a new adventure from the "coast to coast" of the cycling through the magnificent countryside and heritage. From Morecambe Bay to Bridlington Bay, diverse and beautiful landscapes with the Lone Valley, the Boland Forest, the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the Valley of York and Yorkshire and the Wildes - all enjoy cycling trails, rural trails and quieter roads.

The road was largely delineated with the familiar blue Sustrans signs.
